My project 365 is killing me.
Well, more like it's bothering me.
Don't get me wrong. I love doing it. It's reeeeally super fun. But I do not get why us mothers add more deadlines, more tasks, more obligations, to our already gigantic regular ol' list of duties. Then [with little ones] if & when I get two seconds to hear myself think, it very easily turns into a breakdown--like weekly! I mean, I'm totally okay with this because I know I'm not alone. I read about it on other mommy blogs all--the--time. Why do we do this to ourselves?? It's hard enough to raise little ones, let alone add all these unnecessary....what I call...."deadline hobbies".
The adjustment to being responsible for little people, a house, meals, not-my-own-sleep-schedule, tons of other random responsibilities & obligations, etc. and with so many crazy distractions of our day & not being able to catch up so easily....well, it's been a big adjustment for me folks.
Anywho, it's like what happened with my food blog that was supposed to be posts of what I eat daily. It was soooo fun to do that, but when it consumed my thoughts of HAVING to do it when really I needed to do other more important things, it became a burden.
I hope someday--maybe when the kids are in school or maybe when they are up & out of the house (which is sorta why I need to focus on them so they move out & stay out)--to spend more time on extra-curricular blogs.
Call me a big fat F-A-I-L on the 365--which some of you might have predicted--but I'm so used to myself changing my mind all the time that it really doesn't bother me. Ha! I like to try things okay? :)
Also, this just means I'll be posting on my family blog again so I can stick to my own random posting schedule. My food blog will probably be getting more attention as well. I'll be updating the whole month of April on my 365 blog & maybe random day pictures as well, but if I miss a day, so be it. Don't worry about saving all three links to all three of my blogs (ya know, if you were worried), because I'll always have a link to the other two on the top right of each one.
Blah blah blah. I am so lame!
Kthanksbye.

This is as far as I got.
I need to be able to sit for a long period of time when painting my nails. I ALWAYS mess them up while they are wet.

I gave him more & he licked em' clean
& proceeded to poke holes in them.
We have issues with him playing with his food--like when he was a baby, we could never let him hold his own bottle because he would just play with it & not eat--so I told him he couldn't get down until he finished his cucumbers.
I sat down w/ a book to wait it out.
It took about 30 minutes,
but he ate em' with zero tears.

Had lunch w/ our good friends SueAnn & Kevin.
Our babies are about 2 months apart.
We say to our babies,
"You're gonna be friends, and you're gonna like it!"

Update: My sister informed me this hole in our ceiling looks like the size of a basketball.
Not so. It is 3-4 inches across.
This is, what we call, our first-time-home-buyers mistake.
We remember seeing the patch when we looked at the house.
We asked the inspector, and he says as he feels it,
"Oh it's dry. It should be fine."
Umm, okay?
Since being in the house, this is the first season it has leaked.
A roofer said it looks like it's been a problem
from the time the house was built.
We will add it to our list of $$$-home mistakes.
This one? $300.
Thank you tiny emergency fund.

For some reason, my Tuesdays & Thursdays are rough.
When the above happens right when you
get 2 seconds to sit down and eat,
it's like the whole world is against you.
It's funny at the same time,
because it happens all-the-time.

She loves her baths.
Know what morning or mid-day baths mean?
Means she woke up with a very poopy bum,
& wipies just weren't cuttin' it.

Notice: Sadie has a tiny cut on her lip.
Notice: We have to put two chairs sideways
to block Sadie from the kitchen.
Notice: Cameron needs a haircut.
Notice: Pictures gradually go from Sadie to Cameron.
Notice: These two both kick my butt & melt my heart.
